Builders

Well, the builders are due to start work tomorrow for 3-4 weeks (heard that one before. That's the trouble with old houses; start one job, create 6!). Cats are safely, and grumpily, installed in the cattery. I shall miss them, but it's best if they are out of the way. Jon is running round the house taking the "before" pictures as I type. Thankfully it's only 3 rooms (living room, dining room, which will officially be the library when the work is finished, and the utility room) and doesn't involve water! Have moved into the "winter quarters", ie upstairs, until the work is finished. No TV, just books and DVDs, and the bed doubling up for the sofa. Save a lot of time that will. Pyjamas on as soon as I get home and I can go bed after dinner!

Mulder

This is Mulder doing what he does best; being very, very cute. Unlike his sister, he has no real plans at present.

Scully

This is Scully wrapping my birthday present, having kindly taken time out from her busy schedule of "Planning to Take Over the World" to do so. She is the brains of the outfit.

Piccies

Thought I'd have a go at publishing some photos. These 2 little dev...sweethearts are my cats, Mulder and Scully, otherwise known as Numpty and Monster. This was taken 3 years ago when they were 6 months old and spent alot of time together. Now they don't sleep like this (usually they are in different rooms) and I can't get a picture of them both together.

My First Blog

It is 3rd January 2010 and the weather is cold and snowy. As you can probably tell by the stunning opening sentence, I have no idea what to put.

Firstly, I would like to thank Sally, whose own blog inspired me to try it out. Sadly, my life is not as intestesting as hers, so apologies for that. Perhaps, that in itself should inspire me to do more than try to grow my own salad!
